The Wizard of Oz has quite a few allegories I never knew about. The lion is a coward, the scarecrow wasn’t very smart, and the tin man didn’t have a heart. The old mean lady at the beginning of the story was the witch and so on and so forth.
The one person that I really think about that reminds me of a renaissance man would have to be Mr. McCormick. He is a very intelligent, well-known, knowledgeable man. If you wanted to know anything about the world he could tell you. He has just taught me so much this semester and I trust his word very much. He could help you with anything and would do it with no problem.
I’m not gong to say I believe in ghosts but some people have they’re opinions. Most people especially my father has told me that ghosts don’t exist, but of course everyone has spirits but they don’t haunt or anything they either go to heaven or hell. This is one thing we can’t know for certain but maybe one day someone can actually have some real truth behind they’re discovery to convince everyone they do exist.
This video shows that i have accepted the Lord as my Savior. I have always said he was my hero but since this past summer I actually learned how he is my true hero. I love him very much and he has saved my life and made me the person I want to be.
In this short video that i just watched I believe Shrek is the main hero. He is always saving Fiona or saving all of his other friends. Most heroes have to be strong, helpful, and of course they have to be able to save people. In my opinion though, not all heroes have to have all those qualities. Like my family and God are my heroes and they don’t have strength or anything like that.
Beowulf is also a hero. It may because of strength and all of that stuff but he is a hero in some ways.
Well this is my first time using a class blog so this could be quite interesting. This could end up really well for me but we’ll just have see how this goes.
